LIVING IN TIRANA
Tirana is the heart and capital of Albania, like all other European metropolises has a never-ending movement and energy. The value and hospitality shown towards tourists is something that will mark your journey not only in Tirana but also all over the country. Your own journey might begin by visiting the museums and the key spots such as Sheshi Skënderbej, where you will be able to see the Mosque of Et’hem Bey (built between 1798 and 1812) and the 35 m high Kulla e Sahatit (the Watch Tower), built in 1822 with a San Marco style cupola. Next, you can visit the famous Mosaic uncovered on the floor of an old Roman lodge. There is the possibility to travel there by cable car, which is a very special experience. In the region of Tirana you may also visit the castles of Petrela and Preza, as well as some natural attractions, such as Pëllumbasi Cave, Shkalla e Tujanit, and much more.
The cost of living depends on the individuals’ needs and lifestyle. It can however be said that 300 Euros per month is the minimum needed to cover the cost of accommodation, transportation, food and academic materials.

Part of the university experience and the setting of many fond memories is the dormitory. The term “dormitory” in Albania may invoke a vast variety of images in the minds of university graduates depending on their experiences of dorm life and the physical setting of their experience.
For us, dormitories are an essential part of a proper university education and a happy life at university, where friendships are made and where tolerance, sharing, helping others, the art of living together in short is learned.
Our accommodation facilities are designed properly and students can gather around for a friendly conversation or study in solitude, all within a friendship atmosphere.
We believe that staying in a dormitory where all types of technological, cultural and sportive facilities are offered under campus safety, will be a best start for your academic life.
This will also shorten your adaptation period to the university. Since your personal needs, like cleaning, nutrition, transportation and security will be solved in the best and fastest way; you will be free to focus on your lessons.
Rooms are built for 2 or 3 students and designed to allow their occupants to study or sleep without outside disturbances – even when there are other occupants in the room.
Cleanliness is a priority in dormitory facilities and dedicated personnel clean all areas in the dormitory. Students can wash their personal items in the automated washing and drying machines and use the facilities provided for ironing.
You will carry out your education in a safe and peaceful environment, away from traffic, noise and disorder of the city. This is an issue on which the university is highly sensitive. The warm friendship you will build with our staff will make you feel at home.
We are continuing to do everything in the best possible way to make your university years the most unforgettable years of your life.
