Director`s Message

Education is a powerful transformative tool for the individual personally and for each nation. As globalization has brought people in the world together, every individual is now in fact enriching the “global society”. A global attitude, the ability to thrive in diverse, cultural settings, and the willingness to embrace new opportunities – these are the attributes that will equip Epoka University students and faculty to make distinctive contributions in an increasingly globalised environment.

In this context, the University established the International Relations Office (IRO) in 2010,  to work to advance internationalization and cultural diversity within its community and to support the university community in speicific initiatives for internationalization and international exchanges, in line with Epoka University`s role as an academic establishment that promotes itself as being open to the world, that encourages and promotes globally recognized research, that raises competent and ethical individuals, sensitive and able to contribute to the tacleking the country’s and world’s challenges.

The strategies for the internationalization of Epoka University are as follows:

  • Reinforcement of exchanges with Universities worldwide
  • Increasing the collaboration with new partners from the academia and job market
  • Increase the number of international students
  • Strengthening international public relations and overseas networks
  • Enhancing international visibility
  • Increasing the cultural diversity
  • Increasing the joint degree programs
  • Broadening our curriculum in English
  • Promoting the participation in international events, visits, conferences, internships

We welcome any suggestions you might have and look forward to working with you as we strive to promote the internationalization of our institution.
