The International Advisory Board (IAB) will act as the advisory body to the Rector of EPOKA University, with the main focus on providing support to the senior management of the university and its main decision-making bodies such as the Rectorate, the Academic Senate and the Administrative Board while implementing their goals in order to achieve the further development of EPOKA University in the three main missions of the university: teaching, research and service to the community, in compliance with the Framework Strategy of EPOKA University and its Action Plan, with a particular focus on the following main duties and functions:
1. Broadening and deepening of the network of partners of EPOKA University
2. Further development of the participation of academic and administrative staff members as well as students in international exchange programs
3. The active involvement of the research and continuing education centers in the international networking of EPOKA University, in order to increase the visibility of the university and its reputation
4. The utilization of alumni clubs and associations to broaden the partnership network
5. The implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, of the principles and values enshrined in the Magna Charta Universitatum as well as of the values of the European Union
6. Further diversification of the revenues of EPOKA University with a particular focus on the increase of external funding from international research projects and the provision of services
7. Further improvement of the strategic documents, legal acts, procedures and processes implemented at EPOKA University.
The IAB is currently composed of five distinguished members with international background in the field of academia, the industry and/or civil society, with the aim to provide proposals and recommendations on new strategies of development and to guide new thinking on the University's future.
